Program Divisions:
Save a Life
Save a Life Mustang Training Program was started in 2005. We are an all volunteer training program which gentles and trains mustangs for adoption. We gentle and train “Three Strikes”, “Estray” and “Older” mustangs. We also bring rescue and other BLM mustangs into the program to give them the training they need for a successful adoption.
Update: Because we are focusing on larger numbers of mustang adoptions, Save a Life has discontinued training mustangs. We do know many trainers across the United States. Feel free to contact us.

WHOA
Wild Horse Organized Assistance rescue program has over 40 years experience and history in mustang and burro protection and preservation. WHOA has specialized in rescue of orphan foals that have been abandoned in the wild or at a holding facility. This takes special care and many weeks of feeding every two hours throughout the day and all through the night hours.
Update: In 2012 WHOA transferred the orphan program to the Inmate Training Program. WHOA continues to care for the remaining rescue animals. The Mustangs of America Foundation will continue to support both programs.
